How MapGoblin works

Every country on the map is a slot. Startups bid to own it. The startup with the highest cumulative spend on that country is #1, and their logo sits on the land.

How bidding works

Unclaimed countries: bid any amount you choose. To take #1 later, bid any amount above the current leader. If you already spent on that country, you only pay the difference to reach your new total.

There is no timer and no rank decay. If you are #1, you stay #1 until someone outbids you.

FAQ

Refunds. Bids are one-time purchases for map placement, not a subscription. Contact support for genuine duplicate charges. We do not unwind a fair outbid.

Moderation. Taglines pass a keyword filter. Abuse can be hidden by an admin without deleting the payment record.

The map. We use a simplified Natural Earth / world-atlas TopoJSON. Disputed edges are not drawn as custom shapes on purpose.

Payments. You pay once to place your logo. After checkout, we confirm the charge and put you on the map. Card details are handled by the payment page — not by us.
